Questions - Run For The Hills

These questions relate to the sermon on 10 February 2019, Run For The Hills, based on 1 Corinthians 6.

1.  Read 1 Corinthians 5:7 and 6:9-11.  What is the common theme of these verses?

2.  What can we do to establish and remember our new identity?  2 Corinthians 5:17 is a related verse and a good one to memorize.

3.  What do you think is the best part of our new identity?

4.  The NIV uses the term "sexual immorality" is several places of chapters 5 and 6; such as 6:9 and 6:18.  Read other translations if you have them available.  What does this terminology include?

5.  Perhaps pornography was not a big concern in the first century, but it is pervasive today.  How can we prevent falling into this trap?  Are there particular tools you can recommend to others?

6.  What is the best way to resist sexual temptation?

7.  How can we be family to those who chose celibacy/singleness?

8.  Consider Ephesians 5:3-4.
